What is the Pantone colour guide?

What is the Pantone colour guide?

What is it? What is it for and why is it everywhere about colours from the Pantone range?

Pantone is an international colour system that is used in graphic design for both printing and pre-press (computer) versions. The Pantone Plus series guide has close to two thousand primary colours, plus pastel, neon and metallic colours.

The use of a Pantone Matching System (PMS) used by both the largest and smaller companies leads to the uniformity of colours and eliminates problems related to incompatible colours. The Pantone guide can be defined as a global colour communication system.

When choosing the colour of the print, it is worth using the Pantone guide, because it is a universal colour base with which all specialists dealing in printing and graphic design have experience. Magic Print also uses this solution.
